Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw pecan halves

  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 1/2 tsp Tony Chachere’s More Spice Seasoning
  • Clear

Directions

Makes 1 cup (you may need to double the recipe for big parties)

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees

2. Start by spreading the raw pecans on a cookie sheet. Toast in oven for 10 minutes (don’t let them burn!)

3. Put sugar, water, cinnamon and Tony’s in a saucepan and heat until just boiling (about 2-3 mins).

4. Add your toasted pecans, stir to coat and lower heat. Cook for another 2 mins to allow liquid to thicken. Immediately remove from heat and spread onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. Cool, break up any chunks stuck together, and eat!
