Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons + 1 tablespoon Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • 2 medium golden beets

  • 1 small butternut squash (or 1/2 of a large)

  • 1 can of drained white beans (15.5 ounces)

  • 1 large baguette

  • 1/4 pound shredded or cubed white cheddar

  • 3 medium carrots

  • 1 tablespoon yellow curry or turmeric powder

  • 1/3 cup olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon Tony Chachere’s Pepper Sauce

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Start by peeling and rough chopping (keeping all separate) beets, butternut, and carrots. In a small saucepan, boil beets until tender (about 10 minutes), strain and set aside. Repeat with butternut squash and carrots; these two can be done together.
  2. In a food processor or blender, blend 1 tbsp Tony’s Creole Seasoning, beets, and curry powder/turmeric until smooth. Set aside.
  3. In a food processor or blender, blend 1 tbsp Tony’s Creole Seasoning, butternut squash, carrots, and Tony’s Pepper Sauce until smooth. Set aside.
  4. In a food processor or blender, blend 1 tbsp Tony’s Creole Seasoning, white beans, white cheddar, and ¼ C olive oil until smooth. Set aside.
  5. Slice baguette or bread into desired shapes and thickness, layer on a baking sheet, and drizzle with remaining olive oil and Tony’s Creole Seasoning. Bake at 400ºF for 15 minutes or longer until desired crunchiness has been reached.
  6. Once bread is cooked, use a separate spoon for each spread to layer colors in the order of candy corn (orange, yellow, white). Put them on display at your next tailgate or Halloween party and ENJOY!
