Steak Tacos

Get turned up this summer with this recipe by @creoleseoul! This easy-to-make recipe is packed with the flavors of savory Creole herbs and spices in every bite.


  • ½ cup Tony Chachere’s Steakhouse Marinade

  • Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning, to taste

  • ½ cup salsa verde

  • 1lb skirt steak

  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 1 cup cilantro, rough chopped

  • Corn tortillas

  • Clear


  1. Coat steak in marinade, cover and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Grease a large skillet or grill pan with avocado oil and heat over medium high heat for 1-2 minutes. Grill steak each side for 3-4 minutes or until the meat reaches desired doneness. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes on a cutting board.
  3. Slice the steak against the grain into long strips, and then cut again in the opposite direction to make smaller chunks.
  4. Warm up tortillas or lightly toast them on both sides over open flame on a gas stove
  5. Assemble tacos and top with salsa verde and onion-cilantro garnish, and enjoy.
