Pepper Jack Turkey Burger

Forget the traditional beef burger and try this cheesy Creole turkey burger for your next BBQ or tailgate! @flychefaldenb mixes the flavors of Tony’s, citrus, and herbs with lean turkey for a healthier, yet cheesy burger.

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Lean Ground Turkey

  • 1 Egg

  • 1/2 Cup Pepper Jack Cheese, Shredded

  • 1/2 Medium Onion, Diced

  • 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced

  • 1 Jalapeño, Diced

  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire

  • 1 Teaspoon Tony’s Pepper Sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon Tony’s Steakhouse Marinade

  • 2 Teaspoons Tony’s No Salt Seasoning

  • 1 1/2 Cups Mayonnaise

  • 2 Tablespoons Creole Mustard

  • 2 Tablespoons Ketchup

  • 1 Teaspoon Tony’s More Spice Seasoning

  • 1 Garlic Clove, Minced

  • 2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Dill Weed

  • 1 Teaspoon Tony’s Pepper Sauce

  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika

  • For Serving: 6 Buns, Fresh Spinach, Jalapeño Slices, Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, egg, pepper jack cheese, onion, garlic, jalapeño, Worcestershire, Tony’s Pepper Sauce, Tony’s Steakhouse Marinade, and Tony’s No Salt Seasoning until well combined.
  2. Form 1/2-cup patties with the mixture and place on parchment paper.
  3. Heat up a skillet or grill to high heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil of your choice.
  4. Place patties down and let them cook for about 5 minutes while covered. Flip the patties over and remove the cover. Let them cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  5. To make the remoulade, combine mayonnaise, Creole mustard, ketchup, Tony’s More Spice Seasoning, garlic, lemon juice, dill week, Tony’s Pepper Sauce and paprika in a bowl and mix until smooth.
  6. Toast the buns, then spread a generous amount of remoulade on both buns, add a burger, pepper jack cheese, spinach and jalapeño slices. Enjoy!
