Lobster Tail w/ Cajun Butter Dipping Sauce

Skip the restaurants and make your own fancy meal at home! This lobster tail recipe by @flychefaldenb is a decadent dinner made with large lobster tails smothered in a buttery cajun sauce making these lobster tails tender and juicy. The ultimate indulgence!


  • 4 6-8oz Lobster Tails

  • 2 tbs Tony Chachere’s Seafood 30-Minute Marinade

  • 1 tsp Tony Chachere’s Spices & Herb Creole Seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp Tony Chachere’s Supreme Crab Boil

  • Juice from 1/2 a lemon

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • Zest of 1/2 a lemon

  • 2 tbs Tony Chachere’s Seafood 30-Minute Marinade

  • 1 tbs Tony Chachere’s Pepper Sauce

  • 1 tsp No Salt Tony’s Seasoning Blend

  • 1 tsp Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • 1 tsp ginger powder

  • 2 tbs dark brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/4 tsp pepper flakes

  • Clear


  1. Cut the lobster tail down the top of the shell and pull the meat through. Sit the meat on top and devein it.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the lobster together and season the meat generously
  3. Place the lobster under the broiler on high for 1 minute per ounce of the lobster. Remove and let cool.

Making Cajun Butter Mixture:

  1. Heat a skillet on medium heat and add all the butter dip ingredients (unsalted butter, lemon zest, Tony’s Seafood 30-Minute Marinade, Tony Chachere’s Pepper Sauce, Tony’s No Salt, Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning, ginger powder, dark brown sugar, cayenne pepper, dried oregano, and pepper flakes) until well combined.
  2. Remove from heat once butter is melted and serve with the lobster tails as a dipping sauce.
