Loaded Voodoo Chili Pie

Get ready for all of your favorite Louisiana flavors in every bite! This crave-worthy recipe by Chef @michaelgulotta is so fun and easy-to-make, you’ll be absolutely addicted!


  • Tony Chachere’s Chili Seasoning Mix (Original or Mild)

  • 2 Pounds Ground Beef

  • 2 Cups Water

  • 2 14-ounce Cans Diced Tomatoes

  • 1 Cup Onion

  • 1 Cup Red Pepper

  • 2 Cloves Garlic

  • 1/2 Pound Velveeta

  • 1 10-ounce Can Ro-Tel Tomatoes

  • 1 8-ounce Bag Zapp’s Voodoo Chips

  • Pickled Okra

  • Green Onions

  • Clear


  1. In a large pot, brown meat and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion, red pepper and garlic.
  3. Combine Tony’s Chili Seasoning Mix (Original or Mild) packet, 2 cans of diced tomatoes, meat and vegetables in the pot.
  4. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat, letting it simmer for 20 minutes. Stir
  5. Combine the Velveeta and Ro-Tel into a saucepan and allow to melt until smooth.
  6. Slice open the front of the Zapp’s Voodoo Chips bag and peel open, top the chips with chili and then cheese sauce.
  7. Garnish with pickled okra and green onions. Enjoy!
