Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1/4 cup corn starch

  • Tony’s BOLD Creole seasoning

  • 2 cups buttermilk

  • 1/4 cup pickle juice

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1 pound chicken breast

  • Slider rolls

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Start off by making the marinade by combining buttermilk, pickle juice, 1 tablespoon of Tony’s BOLD Creole Seasoning, and 2 eggs in a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
  2. Cube chicken into 2-3” cubes. Place in marinade and let sit in refrigerator for a few hours if possible.
  3. To make the breading, add flour, cornstarch, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of Tony BOLD Creole Seasoning to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and coat in breading. Fry over medium-medium high heat for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  5. Add honey to a skillet with 1 tablespoon of melted butter. Add 1 tablespoon of Tony BOLD Creole Seasoning. Stir to combine. Continue to cook and stir for another minute or so. Add chicken to honey sauce. Toss until chicken is coated.
  6. Assemble sliders using rolls of choice and place some pickles on each (optional).
