Ingredients

  • 6 Pieces Chicken

  • 1/3 Cup Honey

  • 1/4 Cup Chicken Broth

  • 2 Tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar

  • 6 Cloves Garlic, Crushed

  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce

  • Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning, to Taste

  • Garlic Powder, to Taste

  • Vegetable Oil

  • Parsley, for Garnish

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Heat a skillet coated with vegetable oil on medium. Coat chicken in Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning and garlic powder to taste. Add the honey, water, vinegar and soy sauce to a bowl and set aside.
  2. Sear chicken on both sides for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown (work in batches if skillet isn’t big enough). Reduce heat to medium, cover skillet with a lid and let cook until the chicken is cooked through, turning every 5 minutes until all chicken is fully cooked.
  3. Once done, drain out the oil from the skillet, but keep about 2 tablespoons of it in the skillet.
  4. Remove lid and add in garlic and swirl into oil and around the chicken for one minute. Turn heat up to medium-high and pour in the prepared sauce. Let it cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce reduces and thickens.
  5. This is optional but you can take the skillet and stick it under the broiler for about 3 minutes to get a nice char on the chicken. Spoon sauce over chicken, garnish with parsley and enjoy!
