Hamburger Steaks

Try these juicy hamburger steaks by @firehousegrub smothered in rich, savory brown gravy—comfort food at its finest!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 3 tbsp Tony Chachere’s Steakhouse Marinade

  • Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning (to taste)

  • Tony Chachere’s Brown Gravy Mix

  • 2 small-medium yellow onions

  • 8 oz pack of sliced mushrooms

  • 1 egg

    • 1/4 cup panko
  • Clear

Directions

  1. Combine ground beef with egg, panko, and steakhouse marinade. Mix until combined.Form 3 patties. Season both sides liberally with Tony Chachere’s original seasoning.
  2. Heat skillet to medium to medium-high heat. Place steaks in the skillet and cook each side for about 4 minutes. Remove from the skillet. Drain grease.
  3. Add sliced onions and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until browned and soft.
  4. Add Tony Chachere’s brown gravy mix to the skillet. Pour water according to bottle instructions. Stir to combine.
  5. Add steaks back to the skillet. Bring to a simmer. Continue to cook until gravy is thickened to liking.
  6. Serve over mashed potatoes and enjoy!
