Dirty Birdy Creole Casserole

This cheesy chicken casserole is the perfect weeknight meal. Dirty Birdy Creole Casserole by Chef Nikki Shaw, in partnership with Cuisine Noir, is packed with Creole flavors making this your tastiest chicken casserole.

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Tony’s Creole Dirty Rice Dinner Mix

  • 1 1/3 Cups Chicken Broth

  • 1 Can (10.5 Ounces) Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom Soup

  • 1 1/2 Cups Small Broccoli Florets

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • 6 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs, Cut in Half

  • 1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, add Tony’s Creole Dirty Rice Dinner Mix, chicken broth, soup, broccoli florets and Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning. Mix well.
  3. Lightly coat an 11x8x2-inch glass baking dish with nonstick spray. Pour the rice mixture into the pan, then place the cut chicken pieces evenly over the mixture. Lightly season the chicken with Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning. Cover the pan with foil.
  4. Bake for 50 minutes or until all ingredients are fully done. Remove pan from oven and remove foil. Immediately sprinkle cheese evenly on top and allow it to melt before serving.

NOTES:

If you wish, you may replace broccoli with other vegetables like asparagus, green beans, peas or carrots.
