Tony’s Pinto Bean and Smoked Ham Hocks

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Pinto Beans

  • 4 Pounds Smoked Ham Hocks

  • 2 Cups Onions, Chopped

  • 1 Cup Bell Pepper, Chopped

  • 6 Teaspoons Garlic

  • 1 3/4 Tablespoons Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

  • Clear

Directions

  1. In a medium pot, soak beans overnight in enough water to cover. Drain and rinse.
  2. Using a 5-quart pot, add all ingredients with sufficient water to cover and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer slowly until meat falls from the bones and beans are tender (about 1 hour).
  4. Remove bones and fat.
  5. Adjust seasoning and continue to simmer until sauce is thick.
