Tony’s Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya

It doesn’t get more Cajun than with Tony’s Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya! A Southern favorite, this dish mixes an array of delicious flavors. There is chicken, Tony’s Creole Jambalaya Dinner Mix, smoked sausage, garlic, bell pepper and onions. This dish is best served with a side of toasted French Bread.

Ingredients

  • 3-Pound Fryer Chicken, Cut Up

  • 4 Tablespoons Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • Tony’s Creole Jambalaya Dinner Mix

  • 4 Tablespoons Margarine

  • 4 Whole Garlic Cloves, Minced

  • 2 Whole Celery, Chopped

  • 1 Whole Bell Pepper, Chopped

  • 1/2-Pound Smoke Sausage

  • 4 Whole Onions, Chopped

  • 2 1/4 Cups Water

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Season chicken generously with Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning.
  2. Add margarine to a 5-quart Dutch oven and fry chicken until brown.
  3. Remove chicken from pot and add all vegetables.
  4. Sauté for 10 minutes.
  5. In the 5-quart Dutch oven, combine 2 1/4 cups water and Jambalaya Dinner Mix contents.
  6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 25 minutes, halfway through, add in your sausage stirring occasionally.
  7. Return chicken to pot and stir.
  8. Dinner is served!
