Ingredients

  • 6 pounds large shrimp, shell and head on

  • 5 pounds snow crab legs

  • 3 pounds andouille sausage, cut into 4-5 inch pieces

  • 5 pounds red potatoes

  • 12 ears of corn, halved

  • 4 large yellow onions, halved

  • 6 whole heads garlic, halved horizontally

  • 8 lemons, halved

  • 2 cups Tony Chachere’s Creole Crawfish & Crab Boil Seasoning

  • 1 cup + 2 teaspoons Tony Chachere’s More Spice Seasoning

  • 6 bay leaves

  • 2 sticks butter

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Fill a large pot 3/4 of the way with water then add lemons, garlic, onions, bay leaves, Tony’s Creole Crawfish & Crab Boil Seasoning and More Spice Seasoning, then bring the water to a rolling boil. Let the pot boil for 20–30 minutes to fully season the water. (Tip: Taste the water. It should be salty, spicy, and lemony)
  2. Add potatoes and boil for 15 minutes.
  3. Add andouille sausage and corn and boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Add crab legs and boil for 5 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp and boil for 2–3 minutes, just until pink.
  6. Turn off the heat.
  7. Let everything soak in the seasoned water for 20–30 minutes.
  8. Dump onto a table lined with food-safe parchment or butcher paper.
  9. Melt butter & drizzle over the boil and sprinkle 2 teaspoons of Tony’s More Spice on top
