Ingredients

1 can whole kernel corn drained

3/4 cup milk

2 eggs
-
1 1/4 cup flour
-
1 tbs sugar
-
2/3 cup cheddar cheese
-
1 jalapeño deseeded and diced
-
4-6 strips of bacon diced and browned

Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning to taste

Directions
- In a skillet, cook diced bacon until browned. Remove from skillet and save grease.
- Add corn, milk, flour, sugar, jalapeño, and Tony’s in a mixing bowl. Stir to combine. Add cheese and bacon and fold into the mixture.
- Add a little bacon grease back to the skillet and heat to medium heat. Add a dollop of the corn fritter mixture to the skillet. Cook for 3 minutes per side or until browned to liking.
- Remove from the skillet and drizzle with honey! Enjoy!
