Ingredients

  • 2lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 shallots, finely chopped

  • ¼ cup minced garlic

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

  • ½ cup white wine

  • 2 sticks of salted butter, plus more for bread

  • ½ juice of lemon

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • French bread baguette

  • Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning, to taste

  • Garlic Powder, to taste

  • Onion Powder, to taste

  • Italian Seasoning, to taste

  • Red Pepper Flakes, to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil, split

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Coat shrimp with 1 tablespoon olive oil and season with all seasonings except the red pepper flakes.
  2. Add remaining olive oil to a skillet over medium heat. Once heated, saute seasoned shrimp until fully cooked and then remove from skillet.
  3. Melt 2 sticks of butter in the skillet over medium high heat.
  4. Add in garlic and shallots and saute for 1 minute. Stir in white wine and lemon juice, and let cook for another minute. Season to taste with all shrimp seasonings, except red pepper flakes.
  5. Reduce heat to low and add shrimp back to the skillet. Sprinkle in parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and parsley. Stir to combine.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice baguette on the bias into pieces no more than half an inch thick. Butter the top of each bread slice and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
