Shredded Chicken Salad Croissants

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Chicken Breast

  • 1 Cup Tony’s Chicken Marinade

  • 1 Cup Shredded Chicken

  • 1 Tablespoon Mayo

  • 1 Tablespoon Tony’s Creole-Style Ranch Salad Dressing

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • 1 Stalk Celery, Diced Small

  • 2 Croissants

  • Tomato Slices

  • Avocado Slices

  • Lettuce

  • Clear

Directions

Making Tony’s Shredded Chicken:

  1. In a Crock-Pot, cook on low for 4 hours and then shred. Add back in 1/2 of the liquid with the chicken (about 3/4 cup) and mix to combine. This makes just over 4 cups of shredded chicken. Chill in fridge or use to make Tony’s Shredded Chicken Salad Croissants, Tony’s Chicken and Bacon Pinwheels or Tony’s Chicken Taquitos.

Making Tony’s Shredded Chicken Salad Croissants:

  1. Add chicken, mayo, Tony’s Ranch Dressing and celery to a medium mixing bowl and mix well.
  2. Add chicken salad to 2 croissants.
  3. Top with tomato slices, avocado and lettuce to complete your sandwich.
  4. Serve with some cucumber slices.
