Tony’s Chicken Taquitos

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Chicken Breast

  • 1 Cup Tony’s Chicken Marinade

  • 2 Cups Shredded Chicken

  • 1/2 Block Cream Cheese

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • Pepper Jack Cheese

  • 8 Soft Tortillas, Taco Sized

  • 1 Egg + 1 Tablespoon Water, Whisked

  • Tony’s Creole-Style Ranch Dressing for Dipping

  • Clear

Directions

Making Tony’s Shredded Chicken

  1. In a Crockpot, cook chicken breast and Tony’s Chicken Marinade on low for 4 hours and then shred. Add back in 1/2 of the liquid with chicken (about 3/4 cup) and mix to combine.

Making Tony’s Chicken Taquitos

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Combine chicken, cream cheese, Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning and pepper jack cheese in a medium mixing bowl and mix well. This mixture will combine best if the chicken is warm and the cream cheese is at room temperature.
  3. Add 1/4 cup of mixture to each tortilla, roll up and place seam side down on a baking sheet.
  4. Lightly brush with egg wash and then bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Flip each of the taquitos, brush with more egg wash and then bake for another 10 minutes.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes and then dunk in Tony’s Creole-Style Ranch Dressing while eating.
