Savory and cheesy, these Asian-inspired baked crab shells by Viet Home Cooking are hot, creamy and loaded with Creole seasoning. They are the perfect appetizer, sure to impress everyone at your next party.

Ingredients

  • 8 Ounces Imitation Crab, Sliced or Shredded (Can Also Use Fresh Crab)

  • 1/2 Pound Ground Pork

  • 1/4 Cup Yellow Onion, Diced

  • 1/4 Cup Green Onion, Sliced

  • 1/4 Cup Cilantro, Chopped

  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • 1/2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

  • 2 Ounces Soften Cream Cheese

  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese, Freshly Shredded

  • 10 Small-Medium Cleaned Blue Crab Shells

  • Extra Parmesan Cheese to Sprinkle on Top

Directions

  1.  Mix together crab, pork, yellow onion, green onion, cilantro, Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning, olive oil, cream cheese and Parmesan in a mixing bowl until combined.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  3. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  4. Fill each blue crab shell with the filling. Don’t fill it over the top of the shell.
  5. Place the shells on the baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Take the baking sheet out and sprinkle the extra cheese on top. Return it back to the oven for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  7. Take them out of the oven and add sliced green onions or chopped cilantro on top if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
