After a long day when you just need a quick dinner, this is the recipe for you! As The Cooking Mom says, sometimes there’s nothing better than a toasty hot sandwich, and that’s why these Crab Melts are the perfect choice with their fresh, cheesy, and Creole flavors that melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Mayonnaise

  • 1/4 Cup Celery, Very Finely Chopped

  • 2 Tablespoons Green Onion, Chopped

  • 2 Teaspoons Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 1 Teaspoon Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • 1 Can (6 Ounces) Lump Crab Meat

  • 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

  • 4 Slices Tomato (Optional)

  • 2 English Muffins, Split and Lightly Toasted

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, celery, green onions, lemon juice and Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning. Fold in crab meat.
  3. Spread mixture evenly on the 4 English muffin halves.
  4. Top each with one slice of tomato and 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Broil until cheese is melted and mixture is bubbly. Sprinkle more Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning on top for added flavor!

NOTES:

You can also use 1 cup fresh crab meat or 1 cup flaked or chopped artificial crab.
