It’s one of the most popular appetizers in the country and now it’s even more delicious! This Cajun Sausage Queso Dip by Eat For Cheap is so cheesy, savory and packed with Creole flavors that one bite won’t be enough.

Ingredients

  • 2 Teaspoons Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • 16 Ounces Block Velveeta Cheese, Cubed

  • 1 Can (10 Ounces) Diced Tomatoes and Chilies

  • 1 Pound Hot Sausage, Removed From Casings

  • 2 Tablespoons JalapeƱos, Chopped (Optional)

  • Tortilla Chips

  • Parsley for Garnish

  • Clear

Directions

  1. In a cast iron skillet, heat 1 teaspoon olive oil over medium heat. Add in your sausage and break into pieces with a wooden spoon. Season with 1 teaspoon Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning and cook until no longer pink.
  2. Once sausage is cooked, add in your tomatoes and cheese. Turn heat to low and allow cheese to melt, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add in your jalapeƱos and remaining Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning. Stir to combine.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy with chips!
