Sweet and tangy, these Cajun Crispy Honey Soy Wings are a great combination of flavors that everyone will eat up! Created by @tymitchell_, these wings have all of the flavor without any added salt, thanks to Tony’s No Salt Seasoning.

Ingredients

  • 8 Chicken Wings

  • Tony’s No Salt Seasoning

  • Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • Garlic Powder, to Taste

  • Onion Powder, to Taste

  • 4 Cups All-Purpose Flour

  • Oil for Frying

  • 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce

  • 1/2 Cup Honey

  • 1/4 Cup Sugar

  • Tony’s Pepper Sauce, to Taste

  • 1/2 Shallot, Chopped

  • 1 Clove Garlic, Grated

  • 1 Handful Green Onion, Chopped

  • Garnish Options – Toasted White Sesame Seeds, Cilantro, Green Onions

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Preheat oil to about 320°F.
  2. Season chicken wings with Tony’s No Salt Seasoning, onion powder and garlic powder.
  3. In a separate container, add flour and then season the flour with Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning. Add the chicken wings to the flour mixture and coat evenly.
  4. Heat oil to about 350°F.
  5. Add the wings to the oil and fry for about 7 minutes or until golden brown. Drain them on paper towels or wire racks. Set aside.
  6. Time to make the glaze! In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, sugar, Tony’s Pepper Sauce, shallots, garlic and green onion, and bring to a simmer. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. Reduce until thick. Taste and add more of each ingredient as needed.
  7. When finished, toss in your wings.
  8. Sprinkle with toasted white sesame seeds, cilantro and green onions, and enjoy!
