A great Cajun Country Breakfast made with Tony’s Creole Dirty Rice Mix. For a better breakfast burrito, stuff finished dish into warm tortillas and top with grated cheese and salsa!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Pound Breakfast Sausage or Lean Ground Beef

  • 4 Eggs or Egg Substitute

  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Fresh Mushrooms

  • 1 Box Tony’s Creole Dirty Rice Mix

  • 2 1/4 Cups Water

  • Lodge Cast Iron Skillet

  • Clear

Directions

  1. In a Lodge Cast Iron Skillet, brown sausage or beef.
  2. Drain fat.
  3. Add eggs and cook until firm.
  4. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well.
  5. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat.
  6. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes stirring occasionally.

Optional: After Step 6, place eggs onto skillet and broil on high in oven for 4-6 minutes or until eggs are cooked to your preference.
