Ingredients

2 Tablespoons Buttermilk

2 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour

1 Cup Chicken Broth

1 Whole Onion, Chopped

1 Whole Carrot, Diced

4 Whole Peppercorns
-
1 Whole Bay Leaf
-
1 Pinch Parsley
-
1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
-
1 Dash Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning
- Clear
Directions
- Melt butter in saucepan and cook until frothy.
- Add flour, stirring constantly for 3 minutes over very low heat.
- In another pot, simmer chicken broth for 10 minutes with onions, carrot, bay leaf, peppercorns and parsley.
- Strain broth and add to butter and flour, stirring constantly.
- Cook slowly until thickened.
- Stir in cream; cook for 5 minutes.
- Add Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning.
