Newest Local Brew Hits Store Shelves
Opelousas, LA – Gumbo Stout is now available at a store near you! Gumbo Stout is the local brew Creole masterpiece created by Tony Chachere’s® Famous Creole Cuisine and Bayou Teche Brewing.
This limited time, seasonal stout beer is perfect for fall. Adding gumbo to beer gives this brew a roasted and smoky flavor from the roux and barley. Those flavors are accentuated by salt, cayenne and black peppers. The rich, velvety stout has a hint of caramel thanks to the infusion of Tony Chachere’s Creole Instant Roux Mix, Creole Gumbo Base Mix, Creole Gumbo Dinner Mix and No Salt Seasoning Blend. It pairs wonderfully with gumbo, chili, beef stew, Reuben, Debris po’ boy, baked turducken, Cajun-style chicken sausage, beer-can chicken, or really whatever dish you want.
“Savory, yet light, this Gumbo Stout is a delicious combination of everything you love about Louisiana,” said Celeste Chachere, Director of Marketing for Tony Chachere’s. “We are honored to team up with the master brewers at Bayou Teche and bring this collaboration to life.”
Gumbo Stout is now available in select area stores throughout Louisiana, and will only be available for a limited time.
