Fig Cake

A moist and fruity cake that is great for the holidays!
Prep time: 10 minutes   Cooking time: 20 minutes   Serves: 12  

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Oil
8 tablespoon Butter
1 cup Boiling Water
2 Whole Eggs
2 cup AllPurpose Flour
2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
1 pint Fig Reserves
1 cup Pecans (Chopped)

DIRECTIONS:

1: In a large bowl, mix sugar, oil, butter, and boiling water.
2: Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
3: Bake in 9 x 12 inch greased dish at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
