Blackberry Wine

Blackberry wine is the perfect compliment to a steak and vegetable dinner but is also great with any red meat for that matter. Simple and easy!
Prep time: 30 minutes   Cooking time: 120 minutes   Serves: 2  


4 quart Blackberries
2 cup Boiling Water
3 1/2 pound Brown Sugar


1: In a large pot, cover blackberries with boiling water and let stand for 2 hours.
2: Strain berry juice through a cheesecloth, then add sugar to the liquid.
3: Pour liquid in an open jar; cover with cheese cloth and let stand until fermenting ceases.
4: Then bottle.
