Ingredients

8 pack all beef hot dogs

12oz pack of bacon
-
2lbs ground beef
-
8 pack of hot dog buns
-
12oz can of tomato sauce
-
1 white onion diced
-
1 jalapeno sliced
-
2lbs shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
- Start off by browning hamburger meat. Once it it browned add 1/2 of your diced white onion and cook for 5 more minutes. Drain off fat.
- Follow instructions on the back of the Tony Chachere’s chili mix and add in your seasoning, tomato sauce, and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer.
- While your chili is simmering, preheat your grill to 325-350 degrees F.
- Wrap your hot dogs in one slice of bacon.
- Grill hot dogs until bacon is done on all sides (about 15-20 minutes).
- Next, grill or toast your buns.
- Assemble chili dogs with hot dogs first, chili, and cheese. Garnish with diced white onion and sliced jalapeños if desired.
