Ingredients

3 Tablespoons Butter

1/2 Pound Smoked Sausage, Diced Small

2 Boxes Tony’s Creole Dirty Rice Dinner Mix
-
4 1/2 Cups Chicken Stock
-
3/4 Cup Heavy Cream
-
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese, Shredded

Directions
- Mix chicken stock and heavy cream together in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer. Then remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large sauté skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
- Add sausage and cook until lightly browned.
- Add both boxes of Tony’s Creole Dirty Rice Dinner Mix and toss until coated with butter.
- Cook rice for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted, stirring often.
- One cup at a time, add in chicken stock and cream mix to rice and cook stirring often until absorbed.
- Continue this process until all liquid has been used and the rice is cooked through. If more liquid is needed, add a little more stock until the rice is cooked to your liking.
- Remove rice from heat and fold in the Parmesan cheese until incorporated and melted.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
