Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings

  • Tony Chachere’s Roasted Garlic & Herb Injectable Marinade

  • lemon pepper rub

  • hot sauce

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Add wings to a large bowl with a lid, and add in the whole bottle of marinade. Inject each wing, cover, then refrigerate for 1 hr.
  2. Fire up your grill using briquettes.
  3. Remove wings from marinade, wipe off excess marinade, then season with lemon pepper rub.
  4. Add hot coals in a vortex funnel in the center of the grill to cook hot and indirect. Add wings around the center, then add a chunk of applewood over the coals.
  5. The grill will reach around 500-600ºF, so the wings will be done in 20min or so. Once they reach 180-190°F internally, remove from the grill.
  6. Pour melted butter over the wings, then add more lemon pepper and hot sauce. Mix then enjoy!
