Ingredients

  • 10 Ounces Spinach, Frozen

  • 4 Tablespoons Margarine

  • 2 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour

  • 2 Tablespoons Onions, Chopped

  • 1/2 Cup Milk

  • 4 Tablespoons Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • 10 Slices Jalapeño Cheese

  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Cook spinach following directions on package.
  2. Drain and reserve cup liquid.
  3. Melt margarine in saucepan over low heat.
  4. Add flour, stirring until blended and smooth, but not brown.
  5. Add onions and cook until tender.
  6. Pour in spinach liquid and milk slowly, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  7. Cook until smooth and thick.
  8. Add Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning, cheese and Worcestershire. Stir until melted.
  9. Combine with cooked spinach.
  10. Put into a square casserole; top with bread crumbs and place in a 350°F oven until hot (about 20 minutes).
