Ingredients

  • 4 lbs pork shoulder (fat trimmed, cut in chunks)

  • 1 1⁄3 cups Tony Chachere’s Pork Marinade

  • 1 tbs Tony Chachere’s No Salt Creole Seasoning

  • 1 tbs olive oil

  • 12 oz Coca Cola

  • 2 tbs brown sugar

  • 2 tbs apple cider vinegar

  • Clear

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, add your pork and the marinade. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove from marinade and pat dry. Save 1⁄2 c up the marinade.
  3. Season with the No Salt Seasoning.
  4. Set your instant pot to sauté mode, add olive oil and sear the pork in batches on eachside for about 4 minutes.
  5. Pour in the Coca Cola, reserved marinade, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar.
  6. Pressure cook on high for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Allow 15 minutes for it to naturally release. Remove the remaining pressure.
  7. Remove the meat with a slotted spoon and add to a bowl. Shred the meat with a fork and return to the juice.
  8. Serve on a slider or eat alone and enjoy!
