Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

2 cups buttermilk
-
1/2 cup pickle juice
-
2 tbs Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning
-
1 cup flour
-
2 tbs powdered sugar
-
hot honey
-
Pimento cheese
-
Pickled jalapeños
-
Brioche buns
-
oil for frying

Directions
- Combine buttermilk with pickle juice and 1 tbs of Tony’s
- Cut chicken breast in half and beat it flat with a tenderizer. Place chicken in buttermilk mixture. Let the chicken marinate for at least a couple hours.
- Combine flour, powdered sugar, and 1 tbs of Tony’s in a bowl. Coat chicken in mixture.
- Fry over medium to medium-high heat until golden brown and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Toast brioche buns in pan. Place a few pickled jalapeños on bottom bun, followed by chicken. Then, drizzle with hot honey and spread some pimento cheese on top. Enjoy!
