Baked Red Snapper

A delicious red snapper dish with a cajun twist. Fun to make and is terrific served over a bed of rice.
Prep time: 5 minutes   Cooking time: 30 minutes   Serves: 8  


3 pound Red Snapper
2 tablespoon Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning
2 tablespoon Margarine
1 can Tomato Sauce
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 cup Chopped Onions
1/2 cup Bell Pepper
4 bushel Garlic
1 cup Chopped Celery
1/4 cup Dry White Wine


1: Season fish, inside and out place in open baking pan.
2: In a saucepan, combine margarine, tomato sauce, sugar, and vegetables cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
3: Pour wine over red snapper, followed by the sauce.
4: Place in 300 degrees oven cook for 1 hour, basting occasionally.
5: Serve with oyster dressing.
