Tony Chachere’s Creole Mustard

Our Creole Mustard is extremely versatile for making meals and sauces, from a traditional remoulade sauce, to a batter glaze or a zesty honey mustard dressing. The product has a great texture, is not overly hot, and contains no horseradish. Plus, it makes a great potato salad!

Shrimp Remoulade
Ingredients
2 cups mayonnaise
1/3 cup Tony Chachere’s Authentic Creole mustard
1/3 cup ketchup
1/3 cup sweet relish
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
2 tablespoons Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons grated onion
8 cups water
2 lemons, sliced
2 pounds unpeeled medium fresh shrimp
4 cups Arugula
Instructions
In a medium bowl, stir together mayonnaise, Tony’s Creole mustard, ketchup, sweet relish, green onions, Tony’s Creole seasoning, parsley, lemon juice and onion. Taste and adjust for seasoning. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
In a large Dutch oven, heat 8 cups water and lemon slices, over medium-high heat until simmering. Add shrimp; cook until bright pink and firm, about 4 minutes. Remove using a slotted spoon, and place in an ice water bath until cool. Drain well. Peel shrimp.
In a large bowl, stir together shrimp and remoulade sauce until coated. Serve over arugula.
