Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Sesame Seeds

  • 1 1/2 Cups Milk

  • 2 Cups Sugar

  • 1 Pinch Salt

  • 2 Teaspoons Corn Syrup

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Stir sesame seeds in a Dutch oven or skillet over medium heat until parched light brown.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk, margarine, sugar, salt and syrup.
  3. Cook to soft-ball stage.
  4. Remove from heat and stir until thick.
  5. Add parched seeds and stir until well mixed.
  6. Pour mixture into pancake-sized portions on well-greased cookie sheet or waxed paper and cool.
