Ingredients

  • 5 Cups Self-rising Flour

  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

  • 1/3 Cup Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Oil

  • 1/2 Ounce Yeast

  • 2 Cups Buttermilk

  • Clear

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, sift flour, baking soda and sugar together.
  2. Add oil and blend.
  3. Dissolve yeast in a cup of warm water and add with the buttermilk to mixture. Mix well.
  4. Place on floured cutting board, cut into biscuits and place on greased baking sheets.
  5. Bake in 400°F oven until brown.
