Kitchen Tip : Creole Cream Cheese Wonton Cups
Ingredients

8 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened

3 Tablespoons Sour Cream

1 1/2 Teaspoons Tony’s Lite Creole Seasoning (Can Substitute with Tony’s No Salt Seasoning)

1/4 Cup Spring Onions, Chopped, Plus More for Garnish
-
2 Tablespoons Red Onions, Minced
-
24 Wonton Wrappers
-
6 Ounces Sausage, Cooked
-
1/2 Cup Tony’s Creole-Style French Salad Dressing
-
1/4 Teaspoon Tony’s Lite Creole Seasoning (Can Substitute with Tony’s No Salt Seasoning)

1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
-
1 Teaspoon Sugar
- Clear
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, Tony’s Lite Creole Seasoning, spring onions, and red onions. Mix well to combine.
- Grease muffin tin.
- Put two pieces of wonton wrappers into each muffin cup, pressing to form a cup shape.
- Add about 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture to each muffin cup.
- Slice sausage and place a slice on top of the cream cheese mixture in each cup.
- Bake for 9-10 minutes and remove from oven.
- To make the sauce, whisk together Tony’s Creole-Style French Dressing, Tony’s Lite Creole Seasoning, lime juice, and sugar.
- Drizzle the sauce over the top of each cup and then garnish with more green onions.
- Serve the rest of the sauce on the side as a dip. Enjoy!
NOTE:
You can substitute Tony’s No Salt Creole Seasoning for the Lite Creole Seasoning if you wish.
