Creamy Cajun Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • Tony Chachere’s Spice N Herbs Seasoning

  • 2lbs ground beef

  • 1 onion diced

  • 1 jar roasted marinated bell pepper

  • 43oz jar pasta sauce

  • 16oz box spaghetti noodles

  • 1 block Boursin cheese

  • 1 cup cottage cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Clear

Directions

  1. Preheat the skillet to medium high heat and oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Dice onion and bell pepper. Add to the skillet with ground beef. Season liberally with Tony Chachere’s spice and herb seasoning. Cook until browned. Drain grease.
  3. While beef cooks, boil water for pasta. Cook pasta until al dente. Add pasta sauce to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  4. While pasta is cooking, combine the cheeses and egg in a bowl. Add about 1 tsp of more Tony Chachere’s spice and herb seasoning. Stir to combine.
  5. Once pasta is done, drain the water and add cheese mixture. Stir to combine.
  6. In a baking dish, add meat sauce to the bottom. Add pasta layer followed by the remaining meat sauce. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes. Enjoy!
