Ingredients

8 chicken drumsticks

1 bottle Tony Chachere’s Honey Bacon & BBQ Injectable Marinade

4 Tbsp BBQ rub

1/2 cup BBQ sauce

2 Tbsp hot honey
-
2 Tbsp bacon crumbles

Directions
- Butterfly drumsticks by cutting along the bone on each side.
- Place in a food-safe container and pour the marinade over the chicken. Massage into meat, then cover and place in the fridge for 1 hr.
- Get your coals ready for indirect cooking and add in cherry wood for smoking.
- Place the drums on the opposite side of the coals and smoke for about 30 minutes at 400°F.
- Move the chicken over the coals to build a nice char, and then place it back opposite to the coals.
- Brush over BBQ sauce on both sides and cover for 5-10 min to tack up.
- Drizzle hot honey and bacon crumbles and enjoy.
