1lb of ground beef or turkey
1 box Tony Chachere’s Chili Seasoning Mix
1/2 cup finely diced onion
1 finely diced jalapeno
1 can of petite diced tomatoes with chiles
4oz cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheese
1 tsp avocado oil
2 tbsp water
green onions for topping
tortilla chips or corn chips for serving
1. Add avocado oil to a pan on medium heat. Add the meat, onion, and jalapeno and begin to brown the meat.
2. Add in Tony Chachere’s chili seasoning mix and water and continue to mix and brown the meat until cooked through and the seasoning has been mixed thoroughly.
3. Add the seasoned meat mixture to a pot along with tomatoes, cream cheese, and shredded cheese and stir to combine.
4. Gently heat the mixture until the cheeses have melted, stirring occasionally.
5. Pour the dip into a bowl for serving and top with green onions.
6. Serve with tortilla chips or corn chips.
