Red Beans and Rice

With red kidney beans, rice, and your favorite Tony Chacheres seasonings, this traditional favorite can be served as a main dish with cornbread on the side.

Ingredients:
3 cup Dried Red Bean
1 tablespoon Oil
1 tablespoon Flour
2 cup Chopped Onions
1 tablespoon Chopped Onions
1 pound Smoke Sausage
2 tablespoon Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning
4 cup Green Onions
1 tablespoon Oil
1 tablespoon Flour
2 cup Chopped Onions

2 tablespoon Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning

Directions:
1: In a medium pot, soak beans overnight in enough water to cover.
2: Drain and rinse.
3: Heat oil in deep pot over low heat.
4: Add flour, onions, and garlic.
5: Stir frequently and cook until light brown.
6: Add smoked sausage and beans.
7: Add enough water to cover the beans.
8: Season with Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning.
9: Cook slowly until beans are tender (about 1 hour) stirring often.
10: Serve over steamed rice and garnish with green onions.
